The Sonoma is the only model in the HeatWave hemlock lineup with two full-length side windows. The full-length door and both windows feature an elegant frosted stripe pattern — flooding the cabin with natural light and creating an open, spa-like atmosphere while maintaining complete privacy during sessions. A fundamentally different aesthetic from the tinted or bronze glass doors on other models in the lineup.
Nine carbon infrared heating panels deliver 2,100 watts of steady, dry FAR infrared heat throughout the 4-person cabin — up to 140°F. Unlike traditional steam saunas, the Sonoma generates no steam or moisture, creating a cleaner, more hygienic sauna environment. Carbon panels produce broad, enveloping warmth across a large surface area for even heat distribution for all four users.
The cabin is constructed from solid Canadian Hemlock with tongue-and-groove joinery and outer clasps — warp-resistant, naturally hypoallergenic, scratch-resistant, and an excellent heat insulator. The combination of tongue-and-groove panels and outer clasps creates a sturdy, dependable structure that retains heat efficiently for maximum warmth and relaxation.
With an 880 lb combined weight capacity, the Sonoma is built to comfortably accommodate four adults. The full-spectrum chromotherapy lighting system adds color-based wellness to every session. The wireless-connected integrated sound system streams audio through two built-in speakers without cables. An electronic oxygen ionizer purifies cabin air, and adjustable roof vents provide airflow control.
Both are HeatWave 4-person hemlock carbon saunas with a rectangular straight-wall footprint and 9 heaters. The key differences: the Sonoma (SA7020) has a frosted stripe glass door + 2 full-length side windows, runs on 120V / 25A (2,100W), and features an interior-only LED control panel. The Monticello (SA2418) has a bronze-tinted glass door with no side windows, runs on 120V / 20A (2,370W), and features dual interior and exterior LED control panels.
